Overview
As a delivery consultant at Randstad, I would often have meetings with our financial services clients who have job vacancies that need filling. During these meetings I would understand exactly what they wanted in a candidate and dedicate the rest of my time resourcing and putting forward candidates that meet the requirements. I would also prep my candidates throughout the process and close the deals once a formal offer had been made.
Skills
The most valuable skill I learnt was how to operate and work collaboratively with my team to find solutions to various challenges we may have faced. My communication skills were developed massively and I now have full confidence in talking with highly important clients.
Responsibilities
As soon as I started at randstad, I was given a high level of responsibility. I had to manage accounts that were extremely profitable and important to my teams success.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of guidance during my placement. If there was ever a situation I was unsure about there was always someone I could ask for guidance.
Culture
I very much enjoyed the company culture. It was very high-paced and hardworking which was very beneficial to my attitude to work.

I have no regrets doing my placement year with Randstad. I made so many great connections and grew so much as an individual.
