    • Participate at stand-ups and sprint meetings, discuss current problems with my mentor and complete tasks for my project bit-by-bit.

    • I gained more experience with C++ and Scala, better insight in distributed systems, some Docker skills. Became used to working along with my team, explaining my daily status and asking for help accordingly.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

    • In the beginning, my mentor helped me with everything - creating tickets, navigating builds, giving presentations for my team. As time progressed, however, I was able to become quite independent and take more and more responsibility.
