Overview
I worked within the supply chain academy team looking at how role plans needed to be updated - I contacted relevant people, had meetings, replied to emails, and summarised my findings in Excel. I launched a communications project for digital upskilling - I had regular meetings, worked on posts, images, banners etc. to help with the campaign
Skills
Improved my excel skills through completing a LinkedIn learning course as well as my confidence
Responsibilities
I wasn't given that much responsibility and often I didn't have that much work to do
Support & Guidance
I got quite a lot of support and guidance from my line manager and the rest of the team, however, as lots of people were on holiday, there was a 3 week period when I didn't really get any
Culture
Company culture was excellent - everybody was really friendly and welcoming and wanted to help if they could. The general atmosphere within the offices was a friendly, enjoyable working space.
Your Impressions
I did really enjoy my placement, however, often I didn't have that much work and wasn't really pushed to my full capabilities.
