The Role
Incredibly boring and tedious. The most fun I had was counting down the last hour until I could leave each day
Friendly atmosphere but ultimately everything I did ended up in the bin, forgotten or changed beyond recognition
Support if you need it [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]
Daily routine: Arrive, sit on the internet looking busy, lunch, more internet, countdown to leave, go home, begin again
Nothing went to anyone important or did anything important. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]
General business skill you would pick up in any normal office environment, nothing special
The Company
Despite the role and company being greatly disappointing everyone was very nice and friendly although the politics can get annoying sometimes (normal office environment I suppose)
Xerox has had many student so the setup type stuff is done well and every student hands over to their replacement so the start is quite nice.
Mandatory [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] online learning that teaches nothing and is a tick box exercise. No proper training of any real new skills that was of benefit
Doubt Xerox will be offering any jobs [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]
The Culture
Lots of students which is a plus
Typical outer London
Outer London so mixed but travel into London and you will be fine
