  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Overseeing operations in the office, attending customers whilst getting the best customer service in the rental industry. Liaising with bodyshops and customers on the phones to accommodate a rental vehicle. The role involves four key elements of business - marketing, operations, customer service and sales

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • My sales and operation/logistic skills have heightened in particular. Customers have the the option to purchase additional XS products dUsing their rental - and it’s up to you to sell that product without being too pushy.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Fleet management. That entailed me undertaking vehicle checks and liaising with bodyshops / customers to expand the fleet and ensure safety for vehicles. There was a push for always expanding the fleet - the more cars have, the more customers we can attend to.

  • I was given so much support during my internship. Every enterprise employee is given the opportunity to have a mentor (external to branch) that can guide them through the duration. Adequate training provided which definitely helped me.

  • Everyone enterprise was lovely. It had a great business culture where is it you could be yourself

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my internship. Some days can entail long hours of work, but if you’re surrounded by a lovely workforce you don’t see it as work!

  • It is the most inclusive company I’ve ever worked for. It has great opportunities for internal growth in the company and career advancement. The 3 month internship provides the same training as a placement or even a graduate which I absolutely loved.
