Overview
Managing subcontractors completing design work and construction work on the resignalling of rail works in, Devon and Cornwall and South Wales. This involves managing the contracts and changes, and ensuring we get paid from the client monthly and then pay the subcontractors monthly as well. Any claims or changes from the client.
Skills
I have further developed my Excel skills, my email writing skills and my presentation skills. I also learnt how to work with a team in a professional environment, and how to deal with clients.
Responsibilities
Yes, it was my responsibility that the subcontractors received their payment on time and for the correct reviewed amount. As well as ensure the changes to the conteact value were correctly assessed and sent to the subcontractors and client.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support, and everyone gave me attention and support when I had questions or issues.
Culture
Office was always an enjoyable experience, everyone was easy to get along with and happy to help.
