  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I really enjoyed my placement, and definitely gained a sense of value within the company despite only being here for the summer placement. • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems
  • My advice would be to stay positive during the process, and showcase what skills you can bring to the company- not just from a university course but as a person. One thing I noticed during inductions is every placement student has a hobby or a sport that they're passionate about, so explore the skills you've gained from this during interviews or application questions! It's also okay to go for a job role outside your comfort zone. I went into systems with more mechanical experience, but doing this placement has given me so many skills I wouldn't have otherwise gained.
