Overview
As I had many roles my day to day activities would change very often. However, a standard day would include me responding to emails and any team messages. Getting on with individual/team task, attending zoom meetings and finally have a check up with my manager.
Skills
I have learnt the skill of how to be a professional. I have further developed all my other skills such as communication, IT and software skills, time management and many more
Responsibilities
When I first started I didn't get a lot however as time went on I got more and more responsibilities. By halfway through my placement I was very busy and always had something to do. At one point I felt like I had too much responsibilities however I was fortunate enough to have a great team who helped me with decreasing my work load
Support & Guidance
I recieved a bunch of support and guidance as I felt like I really needed it however as time went on I was being macro managed as I felt much more confident. However, if I needed help or support I would get it
Culture
Great. it's one of the the company's unique selling points. Only issue is the culture and atmosphere had a decline due to a company restructuring. The atmosphere and culture did pick up again later on
Your Impressions
I loved the mixture of people I worked with, was managed by and got too meet. With my placement there was a few uncertainties and considering all of those factors the placement turned out to be a great experience
Yes
Just be yourself. If you have the opportunity to work for them they would only want the best version of you. In terms of actually applying for the role I would say try to develop the skills you lack in or which are needed to excel in that job role
