The Role
My placement exceeded all my expectations. I was given real responsibility and full accountability for delivering results.
From the very beginning I was made to feel like part of the team and over the year have become an integral part of it.
Once I started to pick things up, my work load continued to grow so I have been incredibly busy throughout the year with little time to spare for University coursework. I have also been able to travel alot, either abroad or within the UK so I have spent alot of time on the road driving to suppliers, factories or events.
The Company
Great characters within the team, making every day enjoyable.
There was a lack of structure and organisation to my year, but I worked with my manager to put this in place for my own benefit.
Four development days throughout the year were on offer, however I felt they were repetitive of modules studied at University

Successful placement students are asked to apply to the scheme, however this is directed towards branches. Very linited scope for re-joining head office.
