    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I keep track of reservations that come through and call every customer to confirm their reservations , making them aware of our availability and the documents they need to bring in for their booking. Once all documents are seen, and other relevant information is provided, I check customers into their vehicles explaining the excess of the hire vehicle, fuel type, controls on the vehicles as well as important numbers to call in events of a breakdown. Any other questions customers have are answered at this point in time

  • I have greatly developed my communication skills and confidence. Through constant communication with customers and other thrift parties such as bodyshops have greatly enabled me to improve my communication skills. Various training and development sessions as well as presentations has boosted my confidence. I also developed new skills such as sales acumen

  • Yes, I was given responsibility of various aspects of the business. Each trainee is encouraged to be a business leader and very quickly settled in with the notion. I took ownership of various aspects of the business such as customer service and insurance conversion and saw great improvements in these areas.

  • As everyone in Enterprise starts from the same level which is the trainee level, there is so much support! Every manager was once in a trainees shoes and they are all willing to help and answer all questions

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company was very family oriented! From the first day of my onboarding I felt like a part of a great team. Very warm, friendly colleagues but did not compromise on getting the work done

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I greatly enjoyed this internship, I learnt new skills and greatly improved on existing ones, I was a part of a great team and learnt so much from them and made lifelong friendships! The client base was very diverse and no two days were the same! The challenges of the role was exciting and made me look forward to each day. I greatly improved my analytical and problem solving skills and working under pressure , became so easy

  • Be yourself, throughout the application process, make yourself stand out! Don’t conform to rigid notions of what you think the recruitment team expects of you!
