Overview
My role involves advising enterprises and helping them make the most out of Box and really transform the way that businesses work. We focus on the more technical dimensions of the Box product portfolio and bring custom technical solutions to assist customers address real business challenges. That could involve things like how to best integrate Box into their custom CRM such as integrating with Microsoft teams or Salesforce. We also work with customers in migrating their content into Box from different source systems including dropbox, GoogleDrive, OneDrive and also on-premises storage. On a day-to-day basis, I spend most my time engaging with customers and working on several different types of projects which include customers from all across. Box offers a lot of flexibility in terms of working, which means that I can go into office or work from home, as long as I’m getting stuff done which is great.
Skills
Working at Box has definitely made me a lot more confident and independent. As soon as I started my placement, I was able to jump onto customer calls immediately and really be a key part of the team. Dealing with several meetings, sometimes even back to back, has helped me learn how to manage my time accordingly and be more effective during the day. I've also built on my technical skills whilst working here and being exposed to several different tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility throughout my placement where I would lead several customer calls and present technical overview decks. My team has always encouraged me to get involved as much as possible and have always helped me to widen my experiences and knowledge.
Support & Guidance
I was allocated a mentor on the first day I started. She supported me throughout and helped me develop my skills and also get comfortable into the working environment. I've always been able to approach anyone and get help from people all across the company without any hesitation!
Culture
The culture here is absolutely amazing!!! There's lots of communities and events that you can take part in.
Your Impressions
I don't think my experience could have been any better. It's absolutely amazing here! The office has the best working environment with free unlimited snacks and drinks, a top floor view and even a rooftop!
Yes
My advice would be to really make the most out of your time and explore as much opportunities within Box as possible. Box covers a wide range of job opportunities and has a lot of scope and potential for growth and self-development.
