Overview
I was required to have general Excel skills and operate on this platform daily. I would also occasionally be required to refer to Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, though there was more than enough support in setting me up on these platforms.
Skills
I've gained communication skills, having worked co-operatively with a team, as well as resilience in crunching deadlines and keeping my head down whenever necessary.
Responsibilities
At times, the placement felt a little too independent and not as planned out as it could have been, as I experienced periods of stagnancy and had to approach my manager on several occasions to ask for work. However, on the whole, I felt aptly responsible.
Support & Guidance
The onboarding process was excellent and set me up very nicely in a short time period, though support did feel as though it trailed off slightly in the later half of the placement, in a sense that I'd be seeking work more often than previously, where my manager would have back-to-back tasks for me.
Culture
The company culture was my favourite aspect of the placement. It really feels like a community at Adobe, where everyone embraces everyone and it really is an environment that encourages great ideas.
Your Impressions
I highly enjoyed my placement and would recommend it to anyone. The people are lovely, the office is well-located and the work was valuable for my career-planning.
Yes
In my experience, the application process was quite drawn out, with a couple months between two interviews. My advice would be to hold contact with the talent team and not be afraid of the interviews as the interviewers really try to make you comfortable throughout the process.
