Overview
Worked market allocation as divided out by team. The general format of working my markets would be risk trades, high values and then unmatched. We also had to clear our mailbox. Once this was all done we would then cover any remaining trades along with any individual tasks assigned by the team.
Skills
Excel, communication and ability to manage time and pressure would be the biggest improvements to my current skills/qualities
Responsibilities
Yes. My position was treated like an entry level position, meaning I would have the same responsibilities as other members of the team. This was all weighted towards all our overall experience.
Support & Guidance
A lot. Everyone on my team was always open to helping me.
Culture
Can speak much on the wider company as my interactions were limited due to covid. My team were amazing and helpful though.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it. It was quite challenging at first but once I got used to the role it was good.
Yes
Not sure if it's specific to citi but trust and rely on more experienced people and you'll learn/develop a lot more.
