Overview
Checking the fit of accessories and garments, working with the buying team and communicating solutions to suppliers. Investigating high returns to improve garments and carrying out store visits to check the quality and fit of stock out in stores.
Skills
I have learnt how to use new systems and how things work in a high-street brand. I have also learnt a lot about the health and safety side of fashion.
Responsibilities
I have been given a lot of responsibility! It was quite daunting at first, however you do have support from colleagues if you ever get stuck on anything!
Support & Guidance
There is always support and my colleagues went the extra mile to help me out with anything!
Culture
Quite a friendly atmosphere, people were welcoming and understanding!
Your Impressions
I have really enjoyed my placement so far, I have been given a lot more responsibility than what I was expecting and I have learnt a lot of things that I never would have done at university!
