Overview
Learning from current software engineers at Natwest who guided me through a project that their team would continue to use after my internship was finished. On Mondays and Fridays I would also take part in organizing a charity fundraiser.
Skills
Yes, I developed most of my soft skills as well as developing a lot of technical and business knowledge
Responsibilities
Yes I was given the responsibility to develop my project at my own pace with supervision whenever I would require it. This was good as I didn't put stress on me but still gave me a sense of responsibiility
Support & Guidance
I received support and guidance to start me off on my tasks, I was typically left to carry out my tasks with weekly catchups and the option for help whenever I needed
Culture
The atmosphere felt happy and relaxed with a focus on doing the right thing for people
