Overview
I am currently on my Events & Comms team rotation. It is a varied role which changes depending on the stage of the event and what the event manager needs eg drafting key documents such as event concepts and mailings. I do a lot of personal development such as workshops and meeting with the accelerate cohort to reflect.
Skills
I've had the chance to learn and enhance many different skills already from IT skills (excel, mural, CRM systems) to people skills (influencing, working with key stakeholders). As we do different rotations, it is a great chance to explore different career paths and learn what different job entails. For me, this means learning completely new things such as event management.
Responsibilities
As I have been given my own project to lead on, as well as taking ownership of specific tasks within larger ongoing projects.
Support & Guidance
Th environment is incredibly supportive and friendly. I also have both a placement manager and talent sponsor to support me and my personal development. I have weekly catch-ups with my manager to where I can discuss my work and any challenges I am facing.
Culture
Friendly, supportive and inclusive
