Overview
Managing the ASDA Skincare Account. Responsible for delivery of turnover, landing competitive promotional plans within budget and building a strong relationship with Retailers. I was also involved in the outreach programme and led the McCurrach Relationship for the ASDA team.
Skills
I learnt many skils, I did not understand Business and this really built my skills. I was Responsible for delivery of turnover, landing competitive promotional plans within budget and building a strong relationship with Retailers. All of these things I had no experience with before the role and grew the skills throughout.
Responsibilities
I was given alot of key skills as I was in charge of Managing the ASDA Skincare Account. Responsible for delivery of turnover, landing competitive promotional plans within budget and building a strong relationship with Retailers. All of these things were very high responsbility
Support & Guidance
I received okay support and guidance depending on who My manager was. Some managers gave little support, some gave lots of support, so it was a bit mixed throughout the year. Very little understanding of how low the salary was.
Culture
Company culture was very good, lots of fun times together, big emphasis on having fun, with good team building activities. However, in the day to day teams this was sometimes forgotten, especially with the external context of the cost of living crisis.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the placement. I was given lots of responsibility, I was given tasks, and was able to learn and grow as an individual. Managing the ASDA Skincare Account. Responsible for delivery of turnover, landing competitive promotional plans within budget and building a strong relationship with Retailers. Are all things that made it very enjoyable. and the Great atmosphere also helped.
