    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Not really. I did have a manager who I was reporting to and my project would've had an impact. However, for anyone applying to banks keep in mind that banks are really slow. They don't use the latest technology and if you're applying so that you'll kearn about new tech then banks won't teach you.

  • 5/5

  • How would you rate the support and guidance from the wider team?

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Best culture. You cannot fault their culture especially the people in the tech building in Chester. Everyone knew each other and looked out for each other. I have heard that's not the same in every Bofa building. Outgoing people there and love to drink. Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • My internship was enjoyable. Culture was good. Technology was old and banks are really slow to keep up with technology. If only their office was in a major city apart from London and they paid higher for grads then I would've taken their offer for a job.
