Responsibilities
I was given responsibility from day one working alongside the HR Business Partners. I was given my own projects and had full trust to manage these by myself.
Support & Guidance
I had weekly 1-2-1 calls with my line manager to catch up and help prioritise all my tasks. I was in constant contact with the HRBPs who gave me support and guidance 24/7.
Culture
The company culture is friendly, supportive and non-hierarchical. No matter if junior manager, head of department or director, everyone will make the effort to help and support you throughout your placement so you can make the most of your year.
Your Impressions
I loved my placement and would recommend a placement year at Renault to anyone looking into working in the corporate business world. I felt a real sense of belonging and support thanks to all the employees and other trainees. Although at the time I was working at Renault you only had to be in the office twice a week, I came in nearly everyday as I really enjoyed the office culture.
Yes
Just apply! Renault value their placement students highly and will make sure if you put the effort in you will get the most of your placement year.
