Overview
On a day to day you learn and use programs like SAFE,bluebeam,autoCAD and rhino to design and test out different structural elements in buildings to make sure they satisfy safety regulations. I personally worked on slab design.
Skills
I developed my skills in rhino, grasshopper and autoCAD. I also learned SAFE 2016 and BlueBeam Revu
Responsibilities
Yes, I feel like I was given enough responsibility to be able to grow in my role, and gain experience. However, I always had someone checking my work to make sure that I do not make any mistakes.
Support & Guidance
My line manager and colleagues were helpful. I always had someone to go to when I had questions. I also was always given guidance and had work to do, I was never left doing nothing.
Culture
The atmosphere was very welcoming and the diversity at the office showed that it was an inclusive office.
