Overview
Main responsabilities involved: company and market research, financial analysis and preparing client materials.
Skills
Skills developed include: corporate finance and valuation, written and verbal communication, interpreting and synthesising business reports, Microsoft Office software.
Responsibilities
The team trusted the interns with high levels of responsability, both for internal work and client deliverables.
Support & Guidance
There are a lot of support systems available for interns, both before and during the internship. Before the internship, a Spring into Summer programme was held, organising learning sessions and teaming us up with a buddy analyst to further learn about the role. During the summer, similar support programmes were in place, with buddy chats and learning sessions. Continuous formal and informal feedback is also provided throughout the placement.
Culture
Culture is collegiate, entrepreneurial and international. Input from all team members is encouraged when making decisions. Flat structure gives juniors high exposure to senior bankers, providing both meaningful responsability and an accelerated learning experience.
Your Impressions
The well thought-out programme, the accelerated learning experience and the relationships I made all contributed in making the internship a highly enjoyable experience.
