Overview
Completing working papers on multiple areas of the client's business and shadowing more experienced colleagues.
Skills
The opportunity to work on site and speak directly to the client allows you to develop your problem solving and communication skills. Also, Microsoft Excel is heavily used so computer literacy is definitely improved.
Responsibilities
Yes - I was given the opportunity to directly speak to the Financial Director of a client within the second week of my internship - very exciting!
Support & Guidance
You are assigned a buddy and a line manager who, in my experience, were very easy to speak to and always willing to offer help.
Culture
Fairly relaxed working environment which allowed me to get to know my other coleagues, which is vital when you only have a 6-week period to work in.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship - the team was extremely welcoming and allowed me to perform at my best and develop many interpersonal skills.

Ensure you have practised every stage of the application process, from the numerical reasoning tests to the assessment centre and make sure to have an example for each of the company's values.
