Overview
Role involved: • Keeping up with news flow on companies under the desk's coverage throughout the day • Writing sections of research notes on behalf of an analyst • Updating models for companies as earnings are released • Taking notes in client/company meetings for the analyst
Skills
• Developed writing and analytical skills. • Learned how network effectively with senior employees. • Learned how to build an investment thesis and put together a convincing pitch.
Responsibilities
• Allowed to work on live reports in the first week of work • Taken into company meetings and results presentations, sometimes as the only representative from equity research
Support & Guidance
• Received support from people across the division throughout the internship • Analysts and associates were very generous with their time and always available to offer assistance
Culture
• Very relaxed environment, with lots of work getting done. • Strong focus on diversity, inclusion, and charity work.
