The Role
A great amount of responsibility given to an intern to really make you feel part of the team
When you are mixed during meetings a lot of colleagues dont even realise you are an intern and value your contributions either way making you feel valued.
You are given an immediate manger to talk to on a daily basis ensuring you always have the support you need to carry out your job. You will also have PPRs to make sure you are growing as a student.
Working in the film industry means the market is always developing with new title releases. This keep you always busy and adds variety to your work.
Depending on your placement within the company you will be given a different amount of resposibility but each job will always be challanging to keep you interested.
There are numourous training sessions which develop your skills as an employee and help you to gain a job after graduation. The company has a great training schedule and I personally very highly rate it.
The Company
At the end of the day it is still a very productive office but there are still times to have a joke and enjoy your day as long as you get your work done!
As a whole the internship it very well put together allowing you to get the most out of the time spent with the company.
There is an internship solely for training and development so you can imagine the time they invest into training you up.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would like to think I had a good chance to get a job afterwards as the reports I have created have really helped develop the department. I will deffinatley be applying anyway!
The Culture
All the interns had a very close group and a great social life while you are in London.
Im not going to lie, London isnt cheap. But that doesnt mean you still cant socialise!
Clubs are amazing in London, for the amount you pay I would hope they would be!
I joined the football team where you play against other companies in the area but I was unsure if there were many others to get involved in. Im sure there are if you search.
