Responsibilities
YES! I had the opportunity to work on some critical projects and was honestly shocked by the level of responsibility given. It really allowed me to develop the necessary skills quickly and provide confidence in the role.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support and guidance. I received support from many different avenues. I received support on my work and projects through my team manager and everyone in the team was super happy to help anytime. I also received 1-1 support from my stream manager and my assigned buddy when needed. I received personal development support throughout the internship from the career development team and their resources.
Culture
The company culture was super welcoming and modest. As someone who has come from a lower social-economic background, I was quite concerned about how I would fit into the company culture. I was pleasantly surprised to see how welcoming and friendly everyone is. No cut-throat culture and politics, just pure collaboration and teamwork to get the job done!
