    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • Firstly, it was a great two weeks. In week one I sat in corporate ad in week wo I was in Incentives. In both weeks, I completed tasks regarding current transactions that the firm was completing, which was great to be part of. In between this work, the firm put on many talks from department leaders and group leaders to give us a better insight into the firm

    • I have learned how to navigate through legal knowledge hubs. I am development my analytical skills greatly, along with my commercial awareness skills.

    Business Insight

    • It was great. The firm offers so many different roles depending on the individual's aims from their career. It is clear to see that you can get involved in so many groups outside of your practice group. Eg, the Digital Law Group.

    • Make your application tailored to the firm. The firm does so much across so many areas that there is plenty of information on the firm to allow you to do this. Be yourself. Be the nice, enthusiastic, kind HUMAN you are. The firm really places value on you being more than a legal brain. It attracts sociable people who get on with others. Be yourself, not who you think the firm wants you to be. Because I can assure you than they want to meet bright, intelligent, curious people who are human beings not robots.
