Overview
Sat on a project team and assisted others with project-related tasks, including - internal meeting minutes - client meeting minutes - consolidating project plans/timelines - compiling information into client ready format - creating due diligence slides
Skills
- enhanced my understanding of Excel and its uses in project planning
Responsibilities
Yes, I was responsible for creating final product slideshows that were to be presented at client meetings pending review from my manager. I also created project timelines utilised by a team of 20 people
Support & Guidance
I was assigned multiple points of contact for supports and they were proactive in corresponding with me, teaching me new skills, and providing me with a robust foundation off of which I networked with other people
Culture
It was very supportive as the intern intake was very small compared to the team size in general. Made it easy to request 1-1 time with anyone I worked with and everyone was happy to give advice or tips. I liked that instead of interns mostly speaking with each other I was mostly around full-time associates
