    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Friendly, pleasant and generally good at keeping things human. Especially when it came to direct line management, my experience was that of finding a mentor and friend above all else and it seems I wasn't the only one. Focus on deliverables with an understanding of extenuating circumstances. Effort is expected and doing a few hours of overtime a week is practically unavoidable, but not purposefully oppressive

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • The social opportunities, the chances to participate in voluntary work and support my community definitely contributed greatly to my enjoyment. The respect and responsibility given to me by my team also made it a lot more interesting and pleasant than what could have been. I found myself in a team that was quite overloaded and in the process of making staff changes which made the experience more difficult, but generally pleasant.
