Overview
My current role consists of developing every part of the ServiceNow platform. Currently working on technical incidents and requests made on a customer instance. During free time I develop/implement enhancements for our own instance.
Skills
Massive increase in presentation skills as the role requires customer contact and sometimes giving presentations. Vastly increased my knowledge about the scrum methodology in a team of +- 10 people.
Responsibilities
I have the same responsibility as any other full time employee, I am treated no different.
Support & Guidance
Everyone is open to questions and happy to answer said question. I've been provided with mentors for my entire working period which tend to be my first point of contact but like I've mentioned before anyone is happy to answer any question.
Culture
Relaxed atmosphere, no line of enquiry, if you want to speak to someone high up about something you can just do it. Everyone is friendly and ready to help.
Your Impressions
I very much so enjoyed the placement, there's no great pressure on getting your work done. If you can't figure something out and you need extra time you just let your team lead know and extra time or help can be arranged.
