Overview
I am working in the parts and accessories pricing team, which largely involves data analysis, however, I have spent time with brand protection and customer journey who are designing the purpose for the future reputation of the company.
Skills
Yes, I have definitely gained IT experience and I now feel very comfortable in hybrid working which Jaguar Land Rover adopts. I have also gained industry knowledge and I feel very comfortable in talking to colleagues in meetings about intricate proposals and information
Responsibilities
Yes, after training for the first few weeks I felt as though I was a valued member of the team. Just because I was the least experienced I never felt I was the tea and coffee maker
Support & Guidance
Yes, I received a lot of support in the form of being allocated an experienced "buddy" to help with questions and regular check ups from my manager
Culture
The company is going through a huge amount of change due to the environmental requirements for the electrification of vehicles. It's been a very exciting time to be at the company as there is so much future development happening all around.
Your Impressions
Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed the placement and will be interested in returning as a graduate.
Yes
Don't be afraid to ask questions, lots of employees here have decades of experience and they are usually more than happy to help. If you feel the work you are given is not helping in your development don't be afraid to ask for a change.
