Overview
Was placed in the Commercial Agency sector, and undertook on-site valuation assessments, occupier tour of office property, and the calculation of new business rate data (RV). Consequently working out the new RP annalistic figures as it was the new financial year.
Skills
Learnt how to find RV data on the GOV.UK website. Furthermore how to calculate the RP rate dependent on whether a commercial property is valued over or under £51,000.

Culture
The Savills Cambridge office was very welcoming, enthusiastic and informative. I had a departmental talk with someone from each sector so I got a good understanding of the whole company. They were very open to questioning.
