Overview
3 days of training and then 1 week working on the M&A desk. We were paired with an analyst buddy on the team. We had to prepare a presentation on a transaction.
Skills
Excel, presentation, financial knowledge, networking.
Business Insight
Really good. We were encouraged to go on coffee chats with people from different divisions in Investment Banking and Global Markets. Everyone who I asked, even seniors, were responsive and took the time to come and talk to me.
Culture
Amazing. The culture is flat and seniors are very welcoming and open to talk to you. My team was super helpful, taking time to help me understand fundamentals and how the division works, and also with my presentation. The programme cohort were all lovely.
