Overview
I heard from various professionals within the firm about their respective service lines and I gained a deep understanding of what it is like to work for a best employer! I took part in a sustainability case study, which allowed me to collaborate with my peers. I was able to pose questions and network with people in the firm.
Skills
I learnt about the importance of networking as a young professional. Networking is vital to build a rapport with a large range of people and can be used as a tool to develop further and advance my career.
Business Insight
By hearing from professionals in different service lines, I was able to learn more about roles in which previously I had very little knowledge. I learnt about how the some of the different roles at EY are interconnected.
Culture
All employees were very friendly and portrayed EY as a very welcoming and inclusive space. Employees spoke about making your own brand and explained how at EY upskilling is highly encouraged for instance through EY badges. EY has a friendly, and ambitious atmosphere on the whole.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight programme as I was able to take in an extensive amount of information and network with both professionals at EY and my fellow peers. The only way this could be made more enjoyable is by attending in person!
Yes
Apply early on as places are often oversubscribed. Be natural during the interview stages to allow the firm to get a better understanding of what you are like!
