Overview
Spent 4 days listening to talks and asking questions to panels from professionals across global banking and markets. Undertook workshops in areas such as DCM, Sales, Trading and CIB
Skills
Yes definitely. I particularly learnt a lot during the ‘building your personal brand’ workshop in terms of presentation and networking skills.
Business Insight
Coming from an engineering background, they were very open to explaining acronyms and terms I was unfamiliar with. If I had to say one caveat it would be that there was almost too much new information in a short space of time. Only on the last day have I started understanding the true differences across sectors. Maybe extending the programme one more day would help?
Culture
Very friendly - felt comfortable asking anything to anymore no matter what level they were.
Your Impressions
Very much so - I’ve learnt far more than I thought I would and met some incredible people.

Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there - there is so much diversity in thoughts and people and everyone’s opinion is valued
