Overview
On the first day there were lots of talks from various EY employees. These included topics such as DE&I, Women's network, assurance and presentation skills. The second day was much more interactive, and included a networking sessions, case study project and other talks (on financial well-being and sustainability).
Skills
I developed my networking skills, and learnt much more about the assurance service line and profession.
Business Insight
It was really engaging and interesting as it gave me a much better idea of what I would like to do as a future career, as well as the steps I could take to get there.
Culture
From what everyone said, the company culture seems really good and inclusive. I certainly got the impression that EY looks after their people well. However, it was hard to get a real sense of the culture because the programme was virtual so we didn't actually get to go to the offices which was a shame.
Your Impressions
The insight was really interesting, and I found the second day particularly fun as it was more interactive.
