Overview
We received many presentations about the business areas of EY such as audit/assurance, consulting and tax. We also did a case study in breakout room groups which we then presented to the rest of the intern class.
Skills
Many presenting skills were acquired from the case study, such as confidence and clarity when presenting.
Business Insight
It was very well explained and I liked how open the people at EY were to all the questions that we had - no matter how many we asked the quality of answers was brilliant.
Culture
The culture at EY is second to none, and you can really tell that the people who work they are motivated to do well and work towards the best possible outcome for clients.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the insight, as I loved networking with others. This is because I love to get to know like minded people who are interested in similar things to me.
Yes
Always be open to different business lines! There was many different areas of EY, not just consulting, and there is a lot to gain from hearing from other areas of the company.
