Overview
We started off at 10 am and used Teams to listen to presentations from employees working in the different services lines in EY. We had the opportunity to ask them questions about the firm and generally gained insight into how the firm works.
Skills
Yes, we had to do a group project to develop strategies to educate people more about the importance of sustainability. This required critical thinking skills which I put to use and also team work
Business Insight
It felt a bit overwhelming. There are so many service likes doing similar work and it feels like a lot of pressure to decide which particular service line I would like to work in in such a short period of time.
Culture
It felt really relaxed. The employees seemed happy, content and approachable. There was a magic show at the end so that makes me know that the company is very big on maintaining a cheerful environment.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the insight a bit but it would have definitely been better if it was in person. Being online made it difficult to concentrate, participate and I had to sit in front of a screen for too long
Yes
Be yourself in the interview. For the numerical test, speed and accuracy is important and also network with EY employees before applying.
