Overview
I shadowed and grad student and was given the oppunity to work on a project based on an actual project she was doing . I had talks with people within each sector in consulting and it was very informative . Day to day , it was working on our project , shadowing our buddy and listen to talks
Skills
I learnt how to work on a group presentation and work with others to present to professionals on the subject matter . I was also given feedback on the presentation that I believe will improve my ability to do presentations in the future .
Business Insight
I learnt a lot about the different role within the consulting area however I didn’t learn too much about the different streams and what they do .so I believe that there are some areas of the business that I still have a very limited knowledge about . It was nice to learn about the culture and the roles here at PWC as it seems that there is a lot of space for career progression as long as u are proactive .
Culture
The company culture seems very nice and relaxed. There seems to be a very collaborative culture here where most people are willing to help you learn and give advice on certain areas .
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed this insight as I think that the set up was very nice and gave me the change to learn a lot in a short period of time . I also had the chance to set in on a client call which was my first experience of something like that .
Yes
Try and go over examples of case studies and research PWC and why you want to go there and what things you specifically want to learn from them. Also ask questions
