Overview
Shadowing real associate managers doing their day-to-days and learning through them. Gained insights not only on the job role but the company as a whole and the culture there
Skills
- communicating with people holding higher positions - business acumen within the marketing field and employer branding specifically - what companies like PwC look for in employees - PwC’s company culture - being inquisitive and not being afraid to ask questions
Business Insight
It was so interesting to gain deeper insight onto the different areas of marketing within the company. What was the most exciting I found was learning about the company culture and the sense of what it’s like to work at PwC amongst such intellectual and inspiring individuals
Culture
The culture was inspiring. Everyone had a story and came from different backgrounds yet all showed similar characteristics of leadership, determination and a real love to learn and for the company itself. There are some great perks here such as 50% off cafeteria food, free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a specific fund where you can choose what to spend money on whether that’s dental care, a car or riding to work
