Overview
The programme involved spending time with employees at PwC as well as other students. We spent a lot of time networking and discussing peoples experiences and career journeys. As well as this we had a tour of the office, got to experience the facilities and had sessions teaching us about a chosen line of service (in my case audit). These sessions gave us background to audit as well as talking about actual audits that have been conducted.
Skills
I have definitely developed my people skills and learnt to better network with people from all different universities. One thing I learnt was no question is a silly question, and everyone has a different career journey, aspirations and goals. We must focus on our own career journey and understand everybody is different, and not compare our journey to somebody else's (positively or negatively).
Business Insight
Really interesting, on my first day somebody said to me there is a job for everybody in anything at PwC and after walking around the business and seeing everything it has to offer I truly feel this to be true.
