Overview
The first day was a virtual day where we were given information about PwC and the line of service and were given talks within PwC. The second and third day we were paired up with a worker and shadowed this person in their day to day. This experience allowed me to ask questions I had directly and we were also allowed to sit in on meetings and get that first-hand experience.
Skills
I have developed my communication skills when speaking to both the workers at PwC and the other interns too. I learnt the basics of what auditors do including the technical words and the systems used. I look forward to learning more about the role.
Business Insight
It was really interesting to learn about the structure within audit but it would have been good to learn about the other ones too.
Culture
The company culture was very positive. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed in terms of social but everyone was doing their work. It showed the teams are close and improves their efficiency. The office is new and innovative and helps build the atmosphere.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the insight and the people I was able to speak to ask questions. I wanted to learn more and develop my understanding of the role of the job.
