Overview
Mixed between visiting the office and training/participating in talks remotely. Day to day we listened to employees talk about their experiences in Citi, the opportunities etc. We also got to hear a lot more about the range of teams and a bit about the history behind Citi.
Skills
Teamwork, Communication, Networking and Listening The main one is being open minded and have a willingness to ask lots of question and absorb as much advice as possible.
Business Insight
Within Citi, there are so many different departments that include a wide range of different teams. In terms of business, I have a better understanding of how Citi has developed into a global business and the opportunities to take your career in a business-focused direction.
Culture
Everyone was extremely friendly, no one was upset if you asked silly questions. Everyone is so helpful, gives good advice and encourages you to take challenges. The culture overall is uplifting and cheerful.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed this so much that in the future I would really consider joining Citi again and I am motivated to apply for future positions such as the summer internship.
Yes
Citi loves to learn about you personally, your hobbies and your personality. A lot of people I networked with have had degrees in a range of subjects and all have different backgrounds. Overall, include your interests and passions as well as your academics when you are applying.
