Overview
Each day began with networking with our peers and the recruitment team over an incredible breakfast. The excellent food and networking continued throughout the days . During the day, we would listen to presentations and talks by employees of the firm - often by very senior people. These presentations were incredibly insightful. Additionally, there were frequent workshops. These ranges from a CV workshop, to litigation and to one on 'Radical Change' which involved tech and AI.

Business Insight
This was particularly explained in the talk regarding the graduate programme - as this was most relevant to me as a current student. It was also particularly helpful to hear from different roles within the firm such as those in the Radical Change team - other than the classic trainee, associate, senior associate, partner, ect. The firm's values were also helpful to understand and witness in practice.
Culture
It was clear from the start that the firm's values are at the centre of their culture and this was reflected in the atmosphere of every interaction and encounter with a member of DLA Piper. It was great to see these being implemented and not just said without meaning and implementation. I never once felt uncomfortable or that their values didn't reflect the atmosphere.
Your Impressions
This Programme was incredible - I am so grateful to have attended. Not only was it valuable for my own knowledge and career progression but I genuinely enjoyed every moment of it. I will seriously be considering a future with DLA and hope to one day be working as a member of the firm.
