The Role
It was great placement and very enjoyable.
I felt like was just another member of the team, never just the student.
My supervisor was always on hand to support me when I needed and to support my progress though regular catch up meetings.
My placement was great, you're doing a real job and learn how to divide your time between many different tasks.
You get to work on real projects, often as the lead member from your function.
I have learnt many skills which not only will be useful for completing my degree but also in the workplace after.
The Company
My office was a friendly environment.
My placement was well organised.
GSK allowed me to attend offsite conferences to expand my knowledge. I also had regular development review meetings with my line manager to ensure I was getting the best out of my placement.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
It would be great to go back after uni!
The Culture
There was a great group of students within my department which made the year even better.
As the placement was in London, travel and living costs are expensive.
Central London is just a short train ride away
There are always things going on.
