Overview
As mentioned, I sat in 1 department per week and participated in socials and insights into practice areas and committees at the firm. I was also tasked with 2 research tasks.
Skills
One highlight is learning more about the legal technicalities of a PE transaction.
Business Insight
It was very insightful to learn more about the firm from their representatives, and networking at socials was both enjoyable and insightful.
Culture
Latham has a great culture. The people I’ve met were all willing to take time to answer my questions and run through entire deal structures. They are really into mentoring and helping those around them. The team culture is great.
