Overview
The insight took place over 4 days with the final day being the assessment day. We learnt broadly on the first day about how the bank makes money and as the days continued the things we learnt became more specialised, down the routes of our two preferred divisions. There were also two network events in the week with lots of chances to network in between.
Skills
I have improved drastically on my networking and communication skills due to the amount of people I was meeting each day.
Business Insight
It was very eyeopening as I have not gained a previous insight into the finance industry and especially the Bank of America. This meant learning about the business and how each division functions was invaluable for me.
Culture
The company culture was extremely friendly and welcoming, you were able to talk to anyone and ask almost any question. Looking into and talking to various teams you were easily able to see how positive the culture is here. The general atmosphere was equally warm.

Yes
My advice would be to research into the banks functions first and their culture to find out if it is somewhere you would enjoy working. Only apply to the bank after you have defined your motivation for wanting to work there.
