Overview
Liasing with 3PMs, suppliers and different internal teams to manage product continuity in a dynamic environment. Organising, attending and managing trials.
Skills
I have developed my presenting and leadership skills through taking responsibility for last minute trials and communicating my findings to key stakeholders. I have learnt and developed a range of anlaytical skills when designing and carrying out sampling plans and aligning my methods and findings with lab specialists.
Responsibilities
Yes, lots of responsibility to perform and execute trials however support was always to hand when needed which allowed me to lead projects with confidence.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support, there is a large student cohort which meant we had a cohesive onboarding experience which trained us in all the key systems we have used so far throughout the year. The first gen team, a group of colleagues devoted to our onboarding, are easily reachable for any support required.
Culture
Very welcoming, the Beaumont Park pillars (community teams/mental health teams etc) allow you to liase with colleagues and work on 'softer projects' which are soley to build team morale and the office atmosphere.
Your Impressions
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement year so far, I have learnt lots of hard and soft skills that are incredibly transferrable across my career and have met lots of new peers.
