Overview
Day to day, I use my customer service skills to serve customers on retail and insurance basis. We monitor our customers claims to ensure their hire vehicle extensions are up to date. I speak to body shops and dealerships to get updates on customers vehicle repairs. I use my observing skills to check vehicles in to ensure there are no new damages
Skills
I have enhanced my project and time management skills. My observing skills are also being developed and my concentration skills whilst driver throughout the day
Responsibilities
I have been given significant responsibility throughout. I have ‘ran the day’ 4 times which enables me to delegate tasks to my colleagues on where and when they need to be and also what car they will be taking
Support & Guidance
Throughout my placement, my branch and assistant branch manager have been brilliant at guiding me to develop my skills and giving me responsibility to increase my confidence in making decisions
Culture
The company culture has closely aligned with my beliefs of providing excellent customer service. The atmosphere has been very motivational. It is also fast paced which correlates well with my work ethic
Your Impressions
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement as I have gained confidence in a new industry which I had not previously been involved in. I have enjoyed building relationships with many people, both in the company and in body shops, dealership and corporate opportunities.
