Overview
Days usually started with breakfast with other interns, then there would be speakers coming in to introduce the bank/ their departments (for example, the bank’s ESG goal, network groups). There was also a day when AmplifyMe came in to do job simulations for investment banking, markets, and risk. There were a lot of networking sessions for us to talk to employees as well.
Skills
Definitely, through networking sessions, I have gained more confidence in talking with people I had just met.
Business Insight
It was very interesting, there are many departments within the bank and we had a chance to find out what each of them does. The only thing was that we could not switch our initial preferences to other departments for summer fast track if we find the other departments more interesting.
Culture
Very welcoming- all employees I have met are super nice and willing to share their experiences.
