Overview
Day to Day activities can include providing Financial reports and relevant commentary, forecasting, budget updates and more. Interacting with your immediate teams, wider team, stakeholders and the wider business. There is also plenty of project work to get involved in which can be done alongside your usual day-to-day role.
Skills
I have had a great opportunity to develop lots of existing soft skills at university, such as presentation skills and problem solving. The nature of the role really allows you to grow and improve on things you may not be confident in. There is also lots of opportunities to learn new skills as well with lots of training and development sessions available, including the companies systems and general learning.
Responsibilities
Throughout my placement I have been given a great level of responsibility which has really helped push my development. The work I am doing is stretching and feels 'value add'. There is also the opportunity to increase responsibilities as you grow in confidence by taking on a wider scope of work.
Support & Guidance
I have felt supported in every task throughout the last year. Everyone is always happy to run through queries or provide support where necessary.
Culture
The company culture is great. The 'dress code' is very relaxed and there is lots of activities going on to get involved in. Work Life Balance is very important and respected so you can maintain your wellbeing alongside your job.
Your Impressions
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of applying. The roles are great for development, the support in the company is unmatched and it has been really enjoyable.
